    Home Openers

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 2019 baseball season. This year we again have 3 teams with those being Peewee Boys, Bantam Girls, Midget Girls. With may returning players as well as some key pickups this season is looking good for all three teams. Tonight will be the home opener for our Bantam & Midget Girls with games starting at 7. We hope you can make it out for a great evening at the ballpark.

Peewee Boys win back to back.

Your peewee boys played on back to back nights with both games being against the Strathroy Royals #1. The first game was a very tight contested game  ending in a 5-4 win for us. Taking the player of the game helmet with a great outing was Seth Vernon.   The very next evening the boys took the field in Strathroy and ended up coming away with a 14-5 win with Brady Leggate being chosen player of the game. The boys are jelling as one and their efforts on the field are showing this. The boys next game is June 6th at Delaware Lions Park located at 46-48 York St, Delaware Against the DKMB Rivercates #3 with game start of 6:00 pm. Congrats boys.

    Bantam Girls Come home 2nd

Your bantam girls spent the weekend playing in the Exeter Extreme tournament in Crediton and in Zurich.  The ladies started the tournament with a huge win followed up by 2 tough loses. With their win and enough runs scored they finished in the top 4 and scored a big 5-1 win Sunday morning to advance to the final. The final saw a very tough pitching battle between your Bantam girls and the Exeter Extreme with the opponents having to pull out a 7th inning come back to secure the win. Congrats ladies on the 2nd place finish and the fancy medals to add to your trophy cases. Your Bantam girls will be back on the field this coming Wednesday in Wyoming at Centennial Park to face the Wyoming Lady Wranglers 2 with a 8:30pm start and Thursday at Utter Park in Arkona to face the Wyoming Lady Wranglers 1 with a 8:30pm start. See you all there.

    Bantam Girls get the W

The Bantam girls made the trip to Courtright this evening to take the very tough Corunna Giants Royal and came away with a well earned W. Julia Redick once again took the mound and did not disappoint. With Julia's arm dialed in again  the ladies brought out the bats and took away a 13-7 victory. Justine Dickey was player of the game with great hits, awesome defense, spirit, cheer leading and dancing  that can not be matched. The ladies take the field this coming Thursday June 7th to take on the Corunna Giants Gold with a game time of 8:30 Pm on the main diamond. First game under the lights we hope to see you all there.

    Peewee girls win at home

Your peewee girls played May 31st at home against the Camlachie Cougars and came away with a 11-7 victory.  Our young ladies got some bad news before the game as they found out their teammate Shoni Bressette suffered a MCL injury which may cause her to miss a season of play so needless to say the girls where motivated to play this game extra hard and bring home the W. Brianna Cloud pitched the entire game and one of or newest members Hannah Maedel was chosen player of the game. Hannah has come on VERY strong since joining our association and seems very hungry for every ball she is around and proved that very point by catching a tough pop fly in a critical time of the game. WTG Hannah and ladies. Your peewee girls take the field next at home June 1st at 6:30 PM against Walpole Island. Hope to see you all there.
